Your own browser asks discord.com directly. The sign-up form’s own username check: a boolean taken, or a 400 naming why the name is refused. Asked from the visitor’s browser, which Discord allows from this site’s origin; Discord answers 403 to Cloudflare’s egress for every name (measured live 2026-10-29).
There is no public profile page to link to, so a result row carries no link.
